Title - Bridal Designs Team Hit the Road

This week saw the official start of our Account Management team hitting the road. So far our offering has proved to be hugely successful. When our truck showed up at one of our appointments the owner of the store met our sales ladies in the parking lot and bellowed "FANTASTIES!"... The consult involved us setting up our mobile dress rails in the respective store and unveiling a ready to order range of 50 designs, right there on the spot. The store owner was able to inspect and make her decision based on assessing each gown from top to bottom. If we didn't have the colour or size the client wanted of a given style, then our driver would simply draw it from stock and deliver it the following morning.

"We have yet to meet a bridal store that has not bought some of our gowns", said Tamryn Russell one of our Account Managers for the North and Pretoria area. Stores are confirming that our corporate approach is like manna from heaven. In the past stores would take huge gambles on ordering their gowns from the Far East only to find that the quality or actual designs differed substantially from what they had hoped for. Not to mention the huge 45% duty imposed by SARS for textiles from the East. Having access to our own production facility in Mainland China means that we are able to produce and sell gowns at costs that make for a sustainable offering to store owners. What's more is that we keep large quantities of our gowns on hand at our head office which means that if a store orders a style from our STOCK ON HAND sheet, that it is available to them within a 24 hour period. Gone are the days of having to tell future brides that they have to wait for 12 weeks...

Upon asking about our national footprint expansion our Group CEO Lizette Duncan commented; "Our plans for our Cape Town office launch is on track for later this year. Other regions will be called on based on regional visits by staff, which of course includes being accompanied by our mobile show room."  One thing that seems to be happening quite a lot is that actual brides are responding to our branded truck and calling our offices while still in their cars. We of course immediately have to point out that we only sell to stores. The opportunity is not lost to us either as we immediately take the clients' details and then pass the sales lead to a store located close-by to the future bride. Steering awareness to the public will happen via our social networking page on Facebook. In fact we will be doing spot the Bridal Designs Truck Facebook Competitions where brides could win a dream gown by simply uploading a photo they took of our Van while on the road... We in turn will donate the dress to the bride via a store that is located closest to her.

A huge thank you goes out to all the star stores that have welcomed us with open arms. We will see you all again very soon,

Regards

The Entire Bridal Designs Team.

Title - The BD showroom on wheels

Our first fully branded Bridal Designs delivery vehicle will soon be hitting the Jozi streets. We have customized the canopy to be able to transfer up to 50 gowns at a time. A very robust internal dress rail takes care of all that. The vehicle is destined to make deliveries as well as assist the sales ladies by acting as a mobile show room. Once our account manager gets to your store, our driver (with your permission) will bring some mobile dress rails into your store to display our gowns for you to view at YOUR place of business.  PS. we will update the photo below after the branding is complete. This is our approved artwork.
